Burlington man charged after breaking into home looking for ex-girlfriend, fired several shots, deputies say
A man is facing charges after breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home, according to deputies with the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office.
On March 8, just before 4:30 p.m., deputies were called to a home in the 800 block of Deep Creek Church Road in Burlington, after a report of a home invasion.

Once they arrived, residents said that the suspect, Dalessandro Alberto, came searching for his ex-girlfriend. He came in, without permission, with a gun and fired three shots into the floor.
No one was injured.

The residents then said that Alberto, 19, drove away in his car. He was seen by deputies who were conducting a traffic stop. He was arrested and taken into custody at the Alamance County Jail.

Alberto was charged with felony discharging a weapon within an enclosure to incite fear and felony breaking and/or entering to terrorize or injure.
