In the investigation, troopers learned that two vehicles traveling eastbound hit each other. The crash resulted in one of the vehicles sideswiping a Stokes County activity bus. Stokes County Schools released a statement regarding the incident, saying injured students were treated at the scene. The district also said all students on board have been safely returned home.Troopers said drivers from the initial crash were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
