Forrest is currently living in foster care and desires a forever family to call his own. He met WXII 12's Audrey Biesk at the Greensboro Science Center for an afternoon of fun.

He enjoyed looking at the animal exhibits, and like many boys his age, Forrest loves to play video games and play with Legos.
Lucky for him, Forrest had a robotics and Lego room all to himself. Racing cars and putting together Legos, he told Biesk he wants people to know he likes making jokes and making people smile.
"Because it makes them happy," he said.
Forrest thought about what it would mean to have a family adopt him.
"Family means love and kindness," he said. “When people love you, it shows respect, and when you are being kind, you’re saying nice words."

He also really hopes to have a dog one day in his forever home and wants to be a veterinarian when he grows up. The Children's Home Society of North Carolina said Forrest would do best in an active two-parent home as an only child.
