The Greensboro Police Department said Golden Gate Drive was shut down from State Street to Church Street due to the barricade situation.

Police arrived Friday around 7 a.m. to shut down Golden Gate Drive. At the time, a neighbor told WXII 12 he heard yelling and what sounded like a gunshot around 5 a.m.

The Greensboro Police Department's Special Response Team was on the scene as well as an ambulance.

Officers said one person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and did not identify that person.

There is no threat to the public at this time.
