After an inspection was conducted by the city of Greensboro’s Safety Review Team, One17 SofaBar, located at 117 N. Greene Street, has been ordered to close temporarily. On Feb. 25, just past 2 a.m., the Greensboro Police Department, Greensboro Fire Department, and Guilford County EMS were called to the 100 block of N. Another gunshot victim was hospitalized in critical condition.Following this, a safety review was initiated, and the owner was contacted, who then met with the Safety Review Team, which is a task force comprised of multiple city departments, including the Greensboro Police Department, Greensboro Fire Department, Zoning, Code Compliance, and Building Inspections.Watch: NOWCAST streaming newscastsThe Safety Review Team works to conduct on-site inspections, takes action against violations, and addresses the security measures being taken.North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement also partners with the police department to address businesses under such reviews and may conduct their investigations of their own.
