Two Southeast Alamance High School students were killed in a crash, according to Les Atkins, the public information officer of Alamance Burlington County School System. It then re-entered the road, crossed the center line, traveled off the road to the left, and then struck a tree. After impact, the passenger vehicle caught fire, according to troopers. Investigators found the two students inside the Subaru dead. Investigators are uncertain what caused the operator to lose control.This crash is still under investigation. The school system shared this statement:"We send our love and support to their families, friends, and our staff as they process this heartbreaking news. Extra support staff are on hand in our schools to assist students and staff today and this week as needed.
