HAPPENING NOW, GREENSBORO POLICE SAY THEY PLAN ON CHARGING A DRIVER WHO HIT AND KILLED A PEDESTRIAN CHOWAN. THIS HAPPENED ONE WEEK AGO ON GATE CITY BOULEVARD NEAR PASCAL STREET. AND VESTIGATORS SAY ALEJANDRO MARTIRE DEL ANGEL WAS WALKING IN THE STREET WHEN HE WAS HIT BY AN SUV AND THROWN TOWARD THE ENTRANCE OF A NEARBY BUSINESS. EMS RUSHED THE 56 YEAR OLD TO THE HOSPITAL WHERE HE LATER DIED. FROM HIS INJURIES. POLICE SAY THE DRIVER OF THE SUV DI

They arrived around 2 a.m. and found 56-year-old Alejandro Martir Del-Angel, suffering from injuries. A Nissan Rogue driver was on West Gate City Blvd., where the victim had been walking. The front right corner of the Nissan car hit Del-Angel, throwing him to the entrance of Conn's HomePlus (a furniture store). Early in the morning on Dec. 1, Greensboro police went to 3500 West Gate City Blvd. for a crash-and-hit call. They arrived around 2 a.m. and found 56-year-old Alejandro Martir Del-Angel, suffering from injuries.

A Nissan Rogue driver was on West Gate City Blvd., where the victim had been walking. The front right corner of the Nissan car hit Del-Angel, throwing him to the entrance of Conn's HomePlus (a furniture store).
