EVENT, AND FOLKS DRIVING THROUGH GREENSBORO TODAY MAY HAVE SEEN AN ICONIC CAR ON THE ROAD. THE OSCAR MAYER WIENERMOBILE IS SPENDING SOME TIME IN THE TRIAD. THIS WEEKEND WE CAUGHT UP WITH IT TODAY AT THE MERRIAM PETE BRENNER CHILDREN’S MUSEUM AND SPOKE WITH TWO DRIVERS WHO ARE SPENDING THE YEAR TRAVELING THE COUNTRY WITH IT. NOT A BAD GIG. ONE FAN OF THE WIENERMOBILE WAS MORE THAN EXCITED TO SEE IT IN GREENSBORO. NEXT THING YOU KNOW, I’VE SEEN OSCAR MAYER WIENER HAD TWO BUSSES AND SAID, WIFE, COME ON, WIFE, GET AHOLD OF YOURSELF. TURN AROUND, LET’S GO BACK. AND I GOT MY WHISTLE. IT’S HARD TO MISS A GIANT HOT DOG, BUT WE’VE BEEN SHOWING PEOPLE THE INSIDE AND PEOPLE’S REACTIONS ARE ALWAYS VERY EXCITED, SOMETIMES CONFUSED, SOMETIMES SHOCKED. BUT IT’S ALWAYS GREAT TO SEE. YOU GOTTA KEEP IT SUPER. HE GOT THAT WHISTLE. FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO SEE A 27 FOOT LONG HOT DOG ON WHEELS IN PERSON, THE OSCAR MAYER WIENERMOBILE WILL BE IN KERNERSVILLE TOMORROW FOR THE KIWANIS TOUCH-A-TRUCK EVENT. IT’S HAPPENING ON

WXII 12 News caught up to it today at the Miriam P. Brenner Children's Museum and spoke with the two drivers who are spending the year traveling the country with it.

"It's hard to miss a giant hotdog, but we've been showing people the inside, and their reactions are always very excited, sometimes confused, sometimes shocked, but it's always great to see," said Chloe Van Caeselle and Mary Clare Kammer.

For those who want to see a 27-foot-long hotdog on wheels in person, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will be in Kernersville on Saturday, March 23, for the Kiwanis "Touch A Truck" event.
