Tanger Center announces show list, prepares for full capacity inaugural Broadway season

Audiences will be able to watch live theater in person this fall during the Tanger Center's first Broadway season. The Tanger Center announced its revised schedule Wednesday, with "WICKED" starting off the calendar of performances in October. The theater previously postponed its grand opening events at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The hope is it might be enough to entice Hamilton."That 16,000 is quite enough for a new building that hasn't even opened -- that's the best recipe for Hamilton coming to Greensboro as soon as possible," Brown said.The city said it is also excited for shows to bring people downtown and revive its economy.
