Lisa Fulk became the News Director of WXII in April 2015. Fulk has worked for the station for nearly 30 years.

Hired in 1993 as a Production Assistant, Fulk made the transition to the news department where she served as an Assignment Editor before transitioning to newscast producing. She also has served as an Executive Producer, Digital Media Manager and Assistant News Director throughout her career.

Under Fulk’s leadership, WXII 12 News has received several prestigious honors, including a Regional Edward R. Murrow award, MidSouth Regional Emmy awards, Associated Press awards and the NCAB’s Wade Hargrove Community Leadership award.

Fulk also serves as a board member for the Piedmont Triad Chapter of the American Red Cross.

A native of Jamestown, North Carolina, Fulk is a graduate of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Fulk currently resides in Davie County with her husband, two sons and two dogs.
