ALL RIGHT. I KNOW WHAT’S HAPPENING IN THE DAYS TO COME. AND AND IT’S IT’S THIS PATTERN THAT WE’RE STUCK IN, AND I DON’T LIKE IT. AND I KNOW YOU DON’T LIKE IT. NO. AND I KNOW LAINEY DOESN’T LIKE TALKING ABOUT IT. RAIN. JUST IN TIME FOR THE WEEKEND AGAIN AND AGAIN. RIGHT. YOU KNOW, WE DID HAVE A NICE WEEKEND LAST WEEKEND, RIGHT? SO HOPEFULLY YOU ENJOYED THE 70S ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. YOU KNOW, WE HAD 70 JUST A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO. TWO BEAUTIFUL SUNSET OUT THERE. SAURATOWN MOUNTAIN. TODAY’S HIGHS WERE IN THE 60S. CLOUDS ARE COMING IN AND THEY WILL BE WITH US TOMORROW AND YES, INTO SATURDAY. I DO THINK SUNDAY IS GOING TO BE NICE WITH SOME SUNSHINE RETURNING BY THEN. RAIN COMES IN LATE TOMORROW AND CONTINUES TOMORROW NIGHT INTO THE ESPECIALLY THE EARLY PART OF THE DAY ON SATURDAY. THE HEAVIEST OF RAIN LOOKS TO BE AFTER MIDNIGHT TOMORROW AND THEN WE’LL SEE SOME SHOWERS KIND OF LINGERING. SATURDAY AFTERNOON BEFORE THIS THING WRAPS UP. NOW WE’VE GOT A COOLER FLOW IN HERE RIGHT NOW WITH HIGH PRESSURE JUST OFFSHORE, AND THAT COOL EASTERLY WIND IS GOING TO BE WITH US THROUGH THE DAY TOMORROW. SO THAT’S GOING TO KEEP TEMPERATURES DOWN A LITTLE BIT. WE’VE GOT RIGHT NOW AN EASTERLY COMPONENT TO AT ABOUT 5 TO 10 MILES AN HOUR. YOU CAN SEE WHERE THE COOLEST AIR IS, WHERE THAT COOLER AIR IS COMING FROM OUR NORTHEASTERN COMMUNITIES. SO 45 IN DANVILLE, AS WELL AS BURLINGTON, WE’RE AT 54 IN GREENSBORO, 56 IN WINSTON-SALEM. BY TOMORROW MORNING, WILL BE IN THE UPPER 30S AND LOW 40S. AND WE WILL HAVE A THICK DECK OF CLOUDS, KIND OF BUILDING IN FROM THE SOUTHWEST. SO THIS WEATHER SYSTEM YOU SEE OUT HERE, A COUPLE OF AREAS OF LOW PRESSURE, ARE GOING TO MOVE ACROSS THE GULF COAST STATES AND THEN KIND OF TURN RIGHT ALONG THE CAROLINA COAST. NOW, THANKFULLY, WE’RE NOT DEALING WITH WIDESPREAD, SEVERE WEATHER. IT’S MARCH AFTER ALL, SO WE’RE THANKFUL FOR THIS. ISOLATED SEVERE STORMS POSSIBLE SOUTH OF DALLAS TONIGHT. AND THEN WE’RE LOOKING AT JUST GENERAL THUNDER AND LIGHTNING AS A POSSIBILITY ALONG 95 FROM RALEIGH DOWN TOWARD COLUMBIA, AND THEN BACK TOWARD ATLANTA. SO THAT IS JUST TO OUR SOUTHEAST. SO I’M NOT REAL CONCERNED ABOUT THUNDER, BUT I AM CONCERNED ABOUT POTENTIAL FOR SOME FLOODING WITH SOME HEAVY RAIN IN OUR FORECAST. SO RAINFALL TOTALS I THINK ARE EASILY AN INCH IN MOST COMMUNITIES. AND SOME COULD SEE CLOSER TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN. TONIGHT WE’VE JUST GOT CLOUDS AND DRY SKIES. WE’LL NEED THE UMBRELLAS OUT TOMORROW MORNING. MIGHT NEED SOME HEAVIER JACKETS AS WE’LL START IN THE 30S AFTER LUNCHTIME. YOU’RE GOING TO SEE THE CLOUDS REALLY GETTING THICK AND SORT OF LIMITING OUR WARM UP. AND I DO THINK IT’S GOING TO BE TOWARD FIVE, SIX, 7 P.M. BEFORE WE SEE SOME OF THOSE SHOWERS STARTING TO COME IN. BUT IF YOU DO HAVE PLANS FOR TOMORROW EVENING AND INTO THE NIGHTTIME HOURS, MAKE SURE YOU’VE GOT SOME RAIN GEAR AS I MENTIONED, SOME HEAVY RAINS OVERNIGHT INTO EARLY SATURDAY AS WELL. HERE’S THE 12 HOUR FORECAST. RAIN CHANCES REALLY GO UP IN THAT IMPACT TAKES PLACE ONCE WE HIT SUNSET. TEMPS WILL BE IN THE UPPER 50S BEFORE THAT. WITH THAT COOL EASTERLY WIND SHOULD GET TO AROUND 55. IN THE FOOTHILLS. WE START OFF CHILLY IN THE 30S IN THE MOUNTAINS, OVERCAST SKIES, MAYBE A LIGHT RAIN SHOWER EARLY ON IN OUR MOUNTAIN COMMUNITIES, BUT THE STEADIER RAIN DOES HOLD OFF UNTIL LATE DAY INTO SATURDAY. WE ALSO HAVE THE RAIN AROUND AND WIND, ESPECIALLY ON SATURDAY, AS THAT LOW IS GOING TO BE RIGHT OVERHEAD AND IT’S GOING TO BE PULLING AWAY. SO THIS IS SATURDAY MORNING. YOU SEE MOST OF THE STEADY RAIN IS SORT OF TAPERED OFF BY LUNCHTIME INTO THE AFTERNOON. WE MAY SEE JUST A FEW SHOWERS ASSOCIATED WITH THAT SECOND FRONT. THAT IS ACTUALLY GOING TO BRING THE 30S BACK OUR WAY BY SUNDAY MORNING, BUT ALSO BRING US SOME SUNSHINE BY THE END OF THE WEEKEND. SO WE’VE GOT A PLEASANT DAY FOR YOU SUNDAY, SOME DRY SKIES FOR YOU MONDAY AS WELL.
