The Belews Creek Fire Department said they responded to the fire on Pine Hall Road around 2:30 p.m.
Both Duke Energy and fire officials confirm the fire started in a warehouse that holds electrical equipment.
Firefighters said high winds made the fire spread into the surrounding woods.
