For two centuries, the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day parade has not only been a local tradition but a part of history. The first parade occurred in 1824 and has evolved over the years to become one of the largest St Patrick’s Day celebrations in the country.
The 200th annual Savannah St. Patrick’s Day parade procession includes a total of over 350 costumes, floats, marching bands and city streets lined with more than 15,000 emerald-clad patrons.
This year's 2024 St. Patrick’s Day parade in Savannah will be held on Saturday, March 16, starting at 10 a.m. EST, and you can stream the parade LIVE on the Very Local app.
