SO YOU GOT TO FIND A GOOD TIME TO GO. TOO BAD IT’S NOT OPEN TODAY. I KNOW. RIGHT. IT WOULD BE A FANTASTIC DAY TO GO. WE GOT A VERY WARM THURSDAY FORECAST AUDREY INCLUDING A STORM CHANCE AS WE MOVE AHEAD TO LATER THIS WEEK. DOESN’T LOOK TERRIBLY WET FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE. WE WILL HAVE A LEAST A GOOD SHOT FOR SOME SHOWERS AND MAYBE A THUNDERSTORM OR TWO COMING THROUGH DURING THE SECOND HALF OF THE DAY TOMORROW. AS WARM AS IT’S BEEN THIS WEEK, IT’S MORE OF A REALITY CHECK FOR NEXT WEEK AS TEMPERATURES TUMBLE BETWEEN SUNDAY AND MONDAY AND STAY COOL FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS TO GET STARTED NEXT WEEK. YESTERDAY, WELL, ANYTHING BUT COOL. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE MID 70S. YESTERDAY AFTERNOON. BOONE. UH, NOW I’M HEARING THE COLLECTIVE SOUND OF LAWNMOWERS ACROSS MY NEIGHBORHOOD AND YOU’LL HEAR MORE OF THAT AS WE MOVE AHEAD INTO SPRING 73 IN NORTH WILKESBORO, IN MOUNT AIRY YESTERDAY, AND SOME 60S FARTHER NORTH AND WEST, THE HIGH YESTERDAY. DESPITE A NEAR NORMAL START, WE WERE 14 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL YESTERDAY, SHORT OF THE RECORD HIGH. WE WERE SOMEWHERE, I THINK, IN THE TOP FIVE. UH, AS FAR AS WARMEST TEMPERATURES FOR MARCH 13TH ARE CONCERNED. 13TH 14TH. I DON’T KNOW WHAT TODAY’S DATE IS AS FAR AS YESTERDAY’S RAINFALL GOES. NO RAIN IN THE BUCKET, BUT WE’RE STILL AN INCH ABOVE NORMAL. GOING BACK TO LAST WEEK’S RAIN, UH, TEMPERATURES NOW HAVE COOLED ONCE AGAIN. NOW WE’RE IN THE 40S TO NEAR 50 DEGREES. THIS MORNING WITH SOME MID 30S UP IN BOONE. TEMPERATURES WILL BE COOL IN THE MORNING UNDERNEATH THIS KIND OF DRY AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE. BUT THE SUN IS GOING TO REALLY HELP WARM US UP, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU CONSIDER WE HAVE A SOUTHWEST WIND. THINGS ARE GETTING VERY ACTIVE ACROSS THE PLAINS STATES, SO THIS IS PART OF OUR NEXT OF OUR ENERGY, THIS AREA OF RAIN. THE HEAVY RAIN WILL GET SQUEEZED OUT AHEAD ALONG OF THIS FRONT, BUT SHOULD STAY TO OUR NORTH. THAT’S NOT REALLY EXPECTED TO START DROPPING IN. THIS FRONT WILL GET A LITTLE MORE ACTIVE AS WE GO INTO LATER TODAY AND INTO TOMORROW, AND THAT’S GOING TO BRING US OUR RAIN CHANCE FOR FRIDAY, UH, WITH SOME SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS PERHAPS. BUT A LOT OF THAT ENERGY IS GOING TO MOVE SOUTH OF US. SO WE’RE GOING TO GET SOME OF THIS, BUT WE GET SQUEEZED IN THE MIDDLE AND SEVERE WEATHER POSSIBILITIES ARE GOING TO KIND OF GO AROUND THE CAROLINAS OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. MAYBE A FEW CLOUDS THIS AFTERNOON, BUT NOT MANY HIGH TEMPERATURE, I’VE GOT TO SAY 80 DEGREES AT 4 P.M. SO 79 AND THEN STARTING TO COOL DOWN AROUND 5 OR 6:00 THIS EVENING. AND A COMFORTABLE EVENING AT THAT. PERHAPS A FEW MORE CLOUDS WEST WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 70S THIS AFTERNOON. SOUTH WIND IN THE MOUNTAINS SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO TAKE THE MOUNTAIN. HIGHS TO 70 DEGREES LATER ON TODAY. A QUICK, QUICK LOOK AT THE HOUR BY HOUR. YOU SEE HOW CLEAR THINGS ARE, AT LEAST FOR A LITTLE WHILE. TEMPERATURES WARMING UP PRETTY WELL. WE’LL BRING THAT AREA OF RAIN IN BEGINNING FOR THE SECOND HALF OF TOMORROW, SO THAT COULD SPRING A FEW SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS, BUT IT SHOULD BE FADING AS IT ROLLS INTO OUR AREA. TEMPERATURES GRADUALLY COO
