ANYWHERE YOU STREAM. ALL RIGHT. YEAH, IT’S KIND OF LIKE A THANKSGIVING MACY’S DAY PARADE TRADITION. MAYBE FOR SOME PEOPLE, THAT LITTLE MARDI GRAS MIXED IN. YEAH. HERE. IT’S A SCENE DOWN THERE. I’M SURE IT IS A LOT OF FUN. THERE’S A LOT OF THINGS GOING ON TOO, HERE AT HOME IN THE TRIAD SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ARE OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES ARE GOING TO BE PROBABLY THE FAVORED CHOICE FOR PEOPLE BECAUSE OF OUR WEATHER WITH THIS. YEAH, ACTUALLY, THE WEATHER IS TRENDING A LITTLE BIT BETTER THIS WEEKEND. I DON’T THINK WE ESCAPE RAIN ENTIRELY, BUT FRIDAY IS NO LONGER AN IMPACT DAY. WONDERFUL. WE’VE TAKEN OUR RAIN CHANCES DOWN IN A BIT. SEVERAL THINGS TO MOVE FORWARD. WE’VE GOT A WARM AND DRY FORECAST THROUGH THURSDAY AND WE REMAIN WARM THIS WEEKEND, BUT WE’LL START TO CLOUD THINGS UP AND BRING AT LEAST A CHANCE FOR SOME WEEKEND RAIN COMING IN. WE’LL KIND OF GO OVER SOME OF THE DETAILS HERE IN A MINUTE. I KNOW IT’S GETTING WARMER. DON’T PLANT YET. RESIST THE URGE. I’LL EXPLAIN HERE IN JUST A SECOND, BUT WE HAVE SOME COLD MORNINGS RETURNING TO THE FORECAST FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE. WE’RE GOING TO BRING THOSE NUMBERS UP, AND THEN WE’RE GOING TO BRING THEM BACK DOWN AGAIN FOR THE EARLY PART OF THE NEXT WEEK. TYPICALLY, IN A NORMAL SEASON, THE LAST FROST AND FREEZE FOR THE TRIAD COMES SOMETIME IN THE FIRST. ABOUT 10 OR 11 DAYS OF APRIL. AND YOU CAN PUSH THAT BACK TO EARLY MAY. FOR MANY OF OUR MOUNTAIN LOCATIONS. SO WE’VE GOT, YOU KNOW, A GOOD THREE, FOUR WEEKS LEFT TO GO BEFORE IT’S SAFE TO PLANT. AT LEAST WE’RE TALKING ABOUT THE THE TENDER ANNUALS THAT ARE A LITTLE MORE SUSCEPTIBLE TO COLD. I KNOW IT’S IT’S TEMPTING. THINGS ARE REALLY GREENING UP. THE DAFFODILS HAVE LONG SINCE BLOOMED. WE HAVE TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER 70S OVER THE AREA. YESTERDAY AND LOWER 60S FOR THE MOUNTAINS. NOW WE’VE COOLED THINGS DOWN. SOME, UH, TEMPERATURES ARE ABOVE FREEZING IN ALL ZONES THIS MORNING. WE COULDN’T SAY THAT YESTERDAY. IN FACT, PLACES LIKE SALISBURY MOCKSVILLE, YOU’RE AT 39, BUT YOU’RE RUNNING ABOUT TEN DEGREES COLDER. YESTERDAY MORNING, MID 40S FOR MOST OF THE TRIAD. JUST GETTING OUT OF GUILFORD COUNTY, YOU’RE LOOKING AT TEMPERATURE DROP. THAT’S SUBSTANTIAL. GETTING CLOSER TO FREEZING WITH SOME LOW TO MID 30S ACROSS SOME OF OUR BORDER COUNTIES. THERE ARE SOME CLOUDS IN PLACE FOR NOW. THESE QUICKLY BEGIN TO MOVE OUT OF THE AREA THIS MORNING. IN FACT, THE CLEARING EDGE HAS ALREADY REACHED THE MOUNTAINS. UH, THE CLOUDS MIGHT BE GONE BEFORE THE SUN EVEN COMES UP THIS MORNING. THAT’S HOW QUICKLY THEY’RE MOVING OUT. I’VE GOT SUNSHINE BY NINE, FOR SURE. A COOL START TO THE DAY, BUT LOOK HOW QUICKLY TEMPERATURES WARM. WE’RE IN THE 60S BEFORE LUNCHTIME ON OUR WAY TO HIGHS IN THE LOW TO MID 70S THIS AFTERNOON. A FEW THIN CLOUDS MAY MAKE AN APPEARANCE, BUT THAT’S IT. AND AT WEST SOUTHWEST BREEZE AT FIVE MILES PER HOUR, A BEAUTIFUL WEDNESDAY TO GET OUTSIDE LOWER 70S FOR THE FOOTHILLS. GORGEOUS FORECAST FOR YOU THERE AS WELL. UH, MOUNTAIN TEMPERATURES IN THE LOW TO MID 60S. I MEAN, A PICTURE PERFECT DAY WITH WEST, A LITTLE MORE OF A WESTERLY WIND IN THE HIGH COUNTRY. ALL RIGHT, SO LET’S MOVE AHEAD. WE START WITH TODAY. YOU SEE RELATIVELY FEW CLOUDS, A FEW HIGH DRIFTERS COMING THROUGH THE TEMPERATURES LOW TO MID 70S TODAY. AND THEY ONLY DROP DOWN INTO THE UPPER 30S WEST. AND REALLY THE MID TO UPPER 40S IN THE TRIAD OVERNIGHT. A WARMER DAY TOMORROW SHOULD BE THE WARMEST OF THE WEEK, MID 70S OR BETTER. I’VE GOT US AT 78 FOR TOMORROW AFTERNOON. NOW WE’LL START TO BRING IN SOME RAIN CHANCES FOR FRIDAY. IT LOOKS LIKE THE STORM IS GOING TO SPLIT A LITTLE BIT. AN AREA OF RAIN TO THE NORTH, ANOTHER ONE TO OUR SOUTH. WE’RE GOING TO KIND OF SAIL THROUGH THE MIDDLE WITH A CHANCE FOR SCATTERED SHOWERS. NOW I STILL HAVE RAIN CHANCES AT 40% FOR FRIDAY, BUT YESTERDAY WE HAD THEM AT 60%. SO NO LONGER AN IMPACT DAY, BUT A GOOD CHANCE FOR WET WEATHER NONETHELESS. AS WE GET INTO SAINT PATRICK’S DAY, WE’RE LOOKING AT TEMPERATURES THAT ARE LIKELY GOING TO GET INTO THE 70 DEGREE RANGE. WE BREAK THAT DOWN A LITTLE BIT MORE. THERE’S A CHANCE FOR A FEW SHOWERS. OVERALL TEMPERATURES LARGELY IN
