Jenson Van Emburgh has never known life beyond the confines of a wheelchair.Complications at birth led him to become paralyzed below the waist, but that has not stopped him from accomplishing an enormous feat."I focus less on dwelling on my situation and try to make the most of it," Jenson said.Jenson is currently one of the top table tennis players in the world. He trains in Naples and is preparing to compete in the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games this summer.In 2021, Jenson received a bronze medal during the Tokyo Paralympics."I want to turn that bronze into either silver or gold," Jenson said.Jenson has been playing table tennis for more than a decade. He has competed worldwide, leading to his current top-four ranking among players."I knew I could be the best if I worked very hard," Jenson said.
