Lexington man found dead in woods near Erlanger Mill Park, officers say
Officers with the Lexington Police Department have begun a death investigation.
On Thursday at 10 a.m., Lexington officers responded to a call for service about a possible dead body.

The caller who discovered the body was in the wooded area of a walking trail in Erlanger Mill Park in northern Lexington. Once officers and emergency medical officers arrived, they discovered the body, identified as 33-year-old Zachary Hailey.

At this time, Hailey's cause of death is unknown. Investigators said there is no reason to believe that there is a threat to public safety.
