TODAY, THE STATE LOTTERY COMMISSION ANNOUNCED THAT THESE EIGHT COMPANIES WILL BE THE FIRST TO LEGALLY TAKE BETS IN OUR STATE. AMONG THEM, FANDUEL, BET, MGM AND DRAFTKINGS. MORE COMPANIES COULD RECEIVE LICENSES IN THE FUTURE. WE SPOKE WITH A CERTIFIED GAMBLING COUNSELOR TONIGHT WHO SAYS ABOUT 2 TO 3% WILL STRUGGLE. ONE OF THE MOST COMMON PROBLEM BEHAVIORS IS KNOWN AS CHASING. THAT’S BETTING MORE TOMORROW TO COVER WHAT YOU LOST TODAY.
