Kamala Harris will be in Durham, North Carolina, March 1 to discuss Biden administration's economic policies

This visit is part of the Biden Administration’s Investing in America tour, and Vice President Harris will be joined by Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo and North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper.

It will be her 10th trip to North Carolina since becoming vice president and her second trip just in 2024. In January, she visited a Charlotte-area school to announce an additional $285 million in funding to help schools across the country hire and train mental health counselors.
The funding was a result of the historic Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the most significant gun safety law in nearly 30 years.

Harris' visit will come one day before former President Donald Trump holds a campaign rally in Greensboro on Saturday.
