A car hit a student in Winston-Salem on Thursday, Feb. 22, around 4:17 p.m.On Thursday, around 4:17 p.m., officers with the Winston-Salem Police Department were called to the 2400 block of Cole Road about a car accident. Once they arrived, it was discovered that a juvenile had been hit by a car. Officers said the juvenile got off a Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School bus in front of a home. The school bus driver retracted the stop arm and went along with their route. Then, the juvenile ran across Cole Road, behind the bus, according to the police report. The driver of the car that hit the pedestrian, as well as the driver of the WS/FCS bus, stayed on the scene after the crash and cooperated with the investigation.There are no charges at this time.
