Greensboro police report one person has died after a shooting Wednesday night. Officers said they were called to Godwin Court at 9:31 p.m. on Jan. 31. Upon arriving, police found one victim, 19-year-old Jalin Williams, with life-threatening injuries. Williams died at the scene of the shooting due to the severity of his condition, making this Greensboro's fifth homicide of 2024.
