HOME. WE MEET A TEENAGE GIRL LIVING IN A GROUP HOME RIGHT NOW, WHO IS HOPING HER TIME IN FOSTER CARE IS COMING TO AN END. AUDREY BIESK INTRODUCES US TO 14 YEAR OLD KRISTEN. I JUST WANT TO HELP PEOPLE AND BE THERE FOR PEOPLE WHEN THEY DON’T HAVE NO ONE. KRISTEN IS SELFLESS, SPIRIT, INSPIRING HER FUTURE CAREER. I WANT TO BE A DOCTOR OR A NURSE OR SOMEONE THT WORKS IN A HOSPITAL AND YOU HAVE TO HAVE GOOD GRADES TO DO WHAT YOU WANT WHEN YOU GROW, GROW UP, OR YOU GET OLDER. I GOT TO KNOW KRISTEN FOR AN AFTERNOON OF BOWLING. GOOD AND ARCADE FUN AT WOODLEAF LANES IN SALISBURY. I DON’T KNOW, I FEEL LIKE EVERY DAY IS PERFECT TO ME BECAUSE. YOU NEVER KNOW IF YOU’RE GOING TO MAKE IT TO THE NEXT DAY OR NOT. AND AS LONG AS I MADE IT TO THE NEXT DAY, THAT’S GOOD FOR ME. KRISTEN HAS LIVED IN FOSTER CARE THE MAJORITY OF HER LIFE. When asked what Kristin’s favorite day would look like she said, “I feel like every day is perfect to me and you never know if you’re going to make it to the next day or not.
