Rapper Snoop Dogg is set to join NBC Universal's coverage of the Summer Olympic Games in Paris 2024. As *** special correspondent, Snoop Dogg will provide regular reports for the prime time show which will air on NBC and Peacock. Rapper and actor Snoop Dogg will be trying his hand a something new this summer when he joins the NBC Sports team for coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.The announcement was made on Sunday night during halftime coverage of the Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings NFL game.According to a news release from NBC Sports, Snoop will appear with NBC Olympics host Mike Tirico to provide regular reports for the Olympic Primetime Show. "He'll explore the city's iconic landmarks, attend Olympic competitions and events, and visit with the athletes, their friends, and families," NBC said in the news release.Although this will be Snoop's first foray with live television sports commentary, he went viral with his highlight reel reaction videos with Kevin Hart during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The success of his videos with Hart – over 2.3 million views on YouTube – led to Snoop's newest gig as an official Olympic commentator."I grew up watching the Olympics and am thrilled to see the incredible athletes bring their A-game to Paris. It’s a celebration of skill, dedication, and the pursuit of greatness," Snoop Dogg said in the news release.
