An annual Christmas giveaway will be taking place in Winston-Salem this weekend.It's hosted by the non-profit 'With God Crew, Inc.'It will be held at Mount Carmel Church from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.This is the fifth year for the event, and organizers say the need continues to grow each year. "We want to make sure that not one child in the city of Winston-Salem wakes up without having the magic and gift of God and Christmas in their home," said With God Crew, Inc. President Artessa Campbell. For the fifth year, the non-profit is keeping the magic of Christmas alive."We're just excited about doing it," said Campbell. "And it's a great thing-- a great thing God had put on our hearts to do."The non-profit launched the annual 'Truth and Love Christmas Giveaway' five years ago. Since then, the need continues to grow throughout the community."We have noticed the need has grown," said Campbell. "And the support of the community has grown, too."From free groceries and clothes to toys and bikes, the group holds a giveaway each year to make sure no one goes without during the holidays. "We're just all about community," Campbell said. "And making sure everyone is inspired and motivated off of aid, resources, education, motivation and salvation."The non-profit is encouraging anyone who might need a little help this holiday season to come out on Saturday. "We'll be right here ready to give and inspire," Campbell said.
