HERE ARE THE TOP STORIES WE’RE FOLLOWING TODAY. GREENSBORO POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A SHOOTING THAT KILLED ONE PERSON. OFFICERS SAY THEY FOUND 22 YEAR OLD TYREE JACKSON WITH SERIOUS GUNSHOT INJURIES JUST BEFORE FOUR YESTERDAY MORNING. THIS HAPPENED ON DOTSON STREET. AND POLICE SAY JACKSON LATER DIED. RIGHT NOW, THEY ARE NOT LOOKING FOR ANY SUSPECTS AND STILL NO WORD ON WHAT LED UP TO THAT SHOOTING. AND HAPPENING NOW THIS MORNING IN WINSTON SALEM, POLICE SAY A ROAD IS CLOSED AFTER AN OVERNIGHT CRASH. OFFICERS SAY REYNOLDS PARK ROAD ROAD BETWEEN NOVA COVE AND WALTON STREET IS CLOSED. THEY SAY THE CRASH CAUSED DOWNED POWER LINES IN THAT AREA. POLICE ALSO SAY THAT THE ROAD WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL THIS EVENING AS DUKE ENERGY WORKS TO MAKE REPAIRS. AND LOOKING AHEAD TODAY, THERE’S STILL MORE TIME TO CELEBRATE THE CITY OF GRAHAM IS HAVING THEIR ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY AT CITY HALL TODAY. AT 5 P.M. Once they approached the well, the Haldanes could hear Mudge barking. They called 911, and first responders came to the rescue. It took hours for the firefighters to pull Mudge to the surface. A firefighter climbed down into the well to give 110-pound Mudge a boost. The family kept watch with a neighbor who owns a veterinary clinic.
