After starting the 2023 season at 1-10, the Carolina Panthers have fired head coach Frank Reich. Owner David Tepper notified Reich of the decision on Monday morning. "I met with Coach Reich this morning and informed him that he will not continue as head coach of the Carolina Panthers," owner David Tepper said in a statement. He helped usher in a new era by taking Bryce Young with the first pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. They most recently dropped their 10th loss of the season on Sunday, when they lost to the Tennessee Titans, who also have a rookie quarterback in Will Levis. The Panthers now rank near the bottom of the league in total offense and scoring and haven't scored more than 15 points in a game since the bye week, according to the Panthers.The firing makes Reich the NFL's shortest-serving head coach since 1978, according to ESPN.
