The Carter Center announced on Friday that former first lady Rosalynn Carter was entering hospice.
Nearly six months ago, the Carter Center had announced that Rosalynn was battling dementia.
This news comes months after former President Jimmy Carter, 99, began undergoing hospice care at the couple's home in Plains, Georgia.
