The Winston-Salem Police Department said it is investigating a homicide that left one person dead.

WSPD said it responded to the 3500 block of North Glenn Avenue around 12:52 Saturday morning for reports of a shooting.
At the scene, officials said they found 41-year-old Jerry Hairston Jr. dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
