SHAKEN UP BY THE INCIDENT. THIS MORNING, WE ARE GETTING A FIRST LOOK AT THE SUSPECT IN A HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION IN GUILFORD COUNTY. THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE SHARED THESE PHOTOS OF THE MAN THEY SAY IS THEIR SUSPECT. DEPUTIES SAY HE WAS DRIVING A WHITE CHEVROLET, COLORADO, AT THE TIME. THEY HAVE FOUND THAT, BUT THEY ARE STILL, AGAIN, LOOKING FOR THIS SUSPECT. THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE SAYS THIS IS THAT SOMEONE KILLED A WOMAN AND INJURED ANOTHER. LAST THURSDAY ON WELLESLEY DRIVE WEST IN THE ADAMS FARM NEIGHBORHOOD. AND DEPUTIES HAVE NOT SAID HOW THE VICTIM DIED OR WHO THEY WERE. THEY SAID THE VICTIMS ARE RELATED TO EACH OTHE

The sheriff's office said they located the white Chevrolet Colorado with a white camper covering the bed that they believe the suspect was driving.Investigators said they are now asking the community for help identifying the suspect. A neighbor who lives nearby told WXII they recall hearing screams."I thought it was the local kids playing in the neighborhood but then I heard another scream and it didn’t sound quite like children playing and then within about 5 or 10 minutes was when I heard the sirens," the resident said. "I couldn’t see what exactly happened but I could see two people down here that were obviously injured."Guilford County Sheriff Danny Rogers also came to the scene. He shared this message with the community.“We want them to know at this time this is an isolated incident we truly believe. We’re working with many other agencies to bring the suspect or suspects into custody.” Rogers said. The sheriff's office is asking anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect or his potential whereabouts to contact Detective D. A woman was killed and another woman was hospitalized, the sheriff's office said. Her condition is unknown at this time.

Deputies received word of the incident and responded to the scene in the 5600 block of Wellsley Drive, near Guilford College and West Gate City Boulevard just after 10 a.m. on Thursday.

Investigators have not identified the victims or said how the woman was killed, but said the victims are relatives.

Investigators said they are now asking the community for help identifying the suspect.
