CONDITIONS AT THIS AFTERNOON IN RANDOLPH COUNTY. TWO PEOPLE ARE NOW FACING CHARGES AFTER MULTIPLE MALNOURISHED DOGS WERE FOUND AT A HOME. DEPUTIES ARRESTED JOSEPH JONES AND CHARITY WAL. INVESTIGATORS WERE CALLED TO A HOME THERE ON SEARCY ROAD EXTENSION ON JULY 12TH ABOUT THE AGGRESSIVE DOGS. ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICERS FOUND TWO DEAD DOGS AND SEVERAL OTHER DOGS WHO WERE MALNOURISHED OUTSIDE OF THE PROPERTY WHEN THE HOMEOWNER ALLOWED DEPUTIES INSIDE, THEY FOUND A MOTHER DOG AND PUPPIES. Deputies say the caller had also reported multiple dogs inside the home with no caregiver. Contact was made with the homeowner who responded and allowed officers to enter the home. Upon entry, deputies say puppies and the mother were found; two of those puppies were deceased. Joseph Kyle Jones, 32, and Charity Michelle Wall, 33, were identified as the current residents of the property and owners of the dogs, reports say.After investigation, charges were sought against Jones and Wall for nine counts of felony cruelty to animals. On Wednesday, Jones and Wall were located, arrested and transported to Randolph County Detention Center, where they were served their warrants. Jones was issued a $20,000 secured bond and Wall was issued a $10,000 secured bond. Upon arrival, an Animal Control officer found abandoned and malnourished dogs outside of the home, two of which were deceased.

Deputies say the caller had also reported multiple dogs inside the home with no caregiver.

Contact was made with the homeowner who responded and allowed officers to enter the home. Upon entry, deputies say puppies and the mother were found; two of those puppies were deceased.

Joseph Kyle Jones, 32, and Charity Michelle Wall, 33, were identified as the current residents of the property and owners of the dogs, reports say.

After investigation, charges were sought against Jones and Wall for nine counts of felony cruelty to animals.
