According to Cleveland, a dad, grandmother, two kids, ages 6 and 9, were on the water while one child was being pulled in a tube behind the boat.

That child's lifejacket came off while they were treading water, so the dad jumped in to help the child, but he didn't resurface, Cleveland said.

According to Cleveland, the child was able to get out of the water safely.

First responders searched well into the night Friday and resumed their efforts early Saturday morning.

The man's body was found around 7:30 p.m. Saturday in about 40 feet deep water, Cleveland said.

The coroner has identified the victim as 44-year-old Constantin Pascal.

He says Pascal was not wearing a life vest when he jumped into the water.
