The Charlotte Fire Department has identified the two victims killed in a massive fire at a construction site in South Charlotte along Liberty Row last Thursday.

According to a press release from Charlotte Fire, the Mecklenburg County Medical Examiner's Office identified the two victims as Demonte Sherrill and Ruben Holmes.
Investigators discovered the bodies on Friday, May 19.
Their deaths come after the construction site for an apartment complex caught fire Thursday morning. Investigators said the fire started after a spray foam insulation trailer burst into flames.
According to WCNC , more than 90 firefighters rescued 15 workers at the construction site, including a worker trapped on a crane. They said the worker was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
