A SECOND MAN HAS NOW BEEN CHARGED IN THE DEADLY SHOOTING OUTSIDE OF GATSBY’S PUB LAST MONTH. SO WINSTON-SALEM POLICE DID ARREST 19 YEAR OLD JASON OLMEDO FOR THE MURDER OF QUENTIN WILDER. THEY SAY THAT HE WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY THERE IN STOKESDALE. WILDER WAS SHOT AND KILLED OUTSIDE OF THAT BAR AT THE END OF FEBRUARY. MEANWHILE, CHANDLER IS THE OTHER 19 YEAR OLD WHO’S CURRENTLY FACING A MURDER CHARGE IN THIS CASE. POLICE DID PREVIOUSLY ARREST HIM. WE DO HAVE AN UPDATE FROM STATE TROOPERS. THIS IS ON A CRASH OUT OF ALAMANCE COUNTY. THEY FIRST REPORTED THAT ONE PERSON INVOLVED IN THAT CRASH DIED. NOW THEY’RE SAYING THAT THAT IS NOT THE CASE. SO HIGHWAY PATROL SAYS THE PERSON IS AT DUKE MEDICAL CENTER IN CRITICAL CONDITION. THIS CRASH HAPPENED ON I-40 EASTBOUND I-5 NORTH NEAR HOLLYWOOD ROAD IN MEBANE. SHORTLY BEFORE 5 P.M. YESTERDAY, YOU CAN SEE THOSE BACKUPS THAT WERE AS A RESULT. HIGHWAY PATROL HAS NOT SHARED ANY MORE DETAILS ABOUT THIS CRASH AT THE TIME. LAW ENFORCEMENT HAS NOT CONFIRMED ANY ARRESTS HAVE BEEN MADE AFTER AN INOPERABLE PART OF A WEAPON WAS FOUND AT WEST FORSYTH HIGH SCHOOL YESTERDAY. WE’VE BEEN TOLD IT WAS CONFISCATED DURING AN INVESTIGATION WITH THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE. STUDENTS WERE HELD IN PLACE BEFORE THEY WERE GIVEN THE ALL CLEAR.
