A SECOND MAN IS NOW CHARGED IN THE DEADLY SHOOTING THAT HAPPENED OUTSIDE OF GATSBY’S PUB THERE IN WINSTON-SALEM. 19 YEAR OLD JASON OLMEDO IS BEING CHARGED WITH MURDER IN THE DEATH OF QUANTIC WILDER. AUTHORITIES SAY THAT OLMEDO WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY THERE IN STOKES VILLE. WILDER WAS SHOT AND KILLED OUTSIDE OF THE BOURKE STREET BAR, ALMOST A MONTH AGO. NEHEMIAH CHANDLER IS THE OTHER 19 YEAR OLD WHO’S CURRENTLY FACING A MURDER CHARGE IN THIS CASE. TODAY, HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF GREATER GREENSBORO WILL BE BREAKING GROUND ON ITS LATEST HOUSING PROJECT. THE GROUP IS BUILDING TWO SETS OF TOWNHOMES IN THE WILLOW OAKS NEIGHBORHOOD. THE FUTURE HOMEOWNERS WILL BE TAKING PART IN A SHOVEL CEREMONY MARKING THE BEGINNING OF CONSTRUCTION. THIS IS SET TO START THIS MORNING AT 11 A.M. THERE ON GREEN OAK STREET IN GREENSBORO. The driver of the pickup truck that hit and killed 11-year-old Hailey Brooks at the Raleigh Christmas Parade in November has now been charged with manslaughter.Landen Glass, 20, of Goode, Virginia, returned to Wake County in late January to face misdemeanor charges of death by motor vehicle, reckless driving to endanger and carrying a firearm at a parade. RALEIGH, N.C. — The driver of the pickup truck that hit and killed 11-year-old Hailey Brooks at the Raleigh Christmas Parade in November has now been charged with manslaughter.
