After the altercation, multiple shots were fired and Wilder was shot and killed.Shortly after the shooting, Nehemiah Chandler, 19, was arrested and charged with Wilder's murder, as well as discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling and injury to personal property.Chandler was denied bond.UPDATEWednesday, officers said that Jason Olmedo, 19, is now in custody for that shooting as well. U.S. Marshals arrested Olmedo in Stokesdale on Tuesday.He was denied bond.Wilder, also known as Tae Wild to his friends and family, is being remembered as a great son, uncle, brother, cousin and father to two young daughters.“This one really hurt and hurt the whole family and the neighborhood," William Jacob, Quante's cousin, said.“Put the guns down. At the end of the day, if you get in a situation with somebody and words don't prevail, don't pick up a gun because that's one thing you can't get back," Jacobs said. “You're taking away fathers, sons, nephew, you know. I'm saying it’s senseless."Original StoryWinston-Salem police are investigating a deadly overnight shooting.Officers were called to First and Burke streets around 2:10 a.m. Monday.The call for help came as bars were closing in the area. The scene isn't too far from Gatsby's Pub. Police said one man was killed.
