THANK YOU. A POPULAR RESTAURANT IN ASHEVILLE IS WORKING TO RAISE FUNDS FOR ONE OF ITS WORKERS WHO WAS INJURED IN A DRIVE BY SHOOTING. LOCAL COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY THAT SHOOTING HAPPENED EARLY FRIDAY MORNING ON BLACK LOCUST DRIVE. DUARTE SAYS ONE OF ITS LONGTIME EMPLOYEES, ALEJANDRO ZEDILLO MORALES, WAS SHOT THREE TIMES WHILE SLEEPING IN HIS BED. WE’RE TOLD HIS FAMILY, INCLUDING SIX CHILDREN, WERE HOME AT THE TIME AND THEY WERE NOT HURT.     Responding deputies found Alejandro Cedillo Morales, 34, was shot three times in his bed, according to a GoFundMe post started after the shooting by Katie Button.

    "We are heartbroken for his family," Button said.

    She said Morales has worked for the restaurant Cúrate since it opened 12 years ago.

    None of his six children or his sister, who was also in the home at the time of the shooting, was injured, she said.
