on january 26 2020 basketball legend Kobe Bryant, His 13 year old daughter, Gianna and seven others were killed in *** helicopter crash in calabasas California. They were on their way to Jonah's basketball game when foggy conditions caused the helicopter to crash into the hillside. Basketball fans were devastated by the news and tributes were held around the country for Kobe and his daughter. He was my hero. It's been really hard on me since he died. I've been *** fan since I was 13 years old. I'm 32 Kobe Bryant has been in L. ***. More than half of my life and has brought championships to the city, brought pride to the city and I traveled 400 miles just to say goodbye Kobe, played for the Los Angeles Lakers for two 20 years and won five NBA championships throughout his career. He was selected for 18 all star games and during the 2020 All Star game, which was held less than *** month after the accident. The NBA paid special tribute to him and his daughter during the game. One team wore Kobe's number on their jerseys and the other team were Jonah's number. Oh yeah, I mean it's very emotional. I think, you know, both of them did *** great job in honoring Kobe. Uh, like I said the entire weekend was great. You know, just honoring him and his legacy and um, you know, obviously our jerseys voting for him and his daughter. I think the NBA did *** wonderful wonderful job of continuing continuing his legacy and Kobe is still widely known as one of the greatest players in NBA history.
