WELCOME BACK. TONIGHT, WE ARE MEETING A TEENAGE BOY WHO IS ONE OF MORE THAN 12,000 CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE HERE IN NORTH CAROLINA. AUDREY BIESK JOINS US NOW WITH TONIGHT’S A PLACE TO CALL HOME. I’M INTRODUCING YOU TO JAYDEN, A SHY AND SWEET 14 YEAR OLD BOY WHO IS HOPEFUL FOSTER CARE OR WILL BE JUST A TEMPORARY PART OF HIS LIFE. WE HUNG OUT AT THE MUSEUM OF LIFE AND SCIENCE IN DURHAM AND AFTER SEEING ALL THESE COOL EXHIBITS, JADEN SHARED WHAT IT WOULD MEAN TO HIM TO FINALLY HAVE HIS FOREVER HOME. I MEAN, A LOT OF ALL GOT TO KEEP MOVING FROM PLACE TO PLACE AND JUST STAYING IN ONE HOME. HE WANTS YOU TO KNOW HOW HE DESCRIBES HIMSELF. NOW, A PERSON QUIET, SMART. ATHLETIC. JADEN IS A SPORTS GUY. HE WANTS TO PLAY BASKETBALL IN HIGH SCHOOL SOON. HIS DREAM IS TO ATTEND COLLEGE AND BECOME A PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE ONE DAY. MOST OF ALL, IT’S IMPORTANT HE NEVER LOSES TOUCH WITH HIS BIG BROTHER, JEREMIAH. AS I COMES OUT FOR FUN THINGS HAPPEN. A LOT OF GOING PLACES. I THINK OF FAMILIES IMPORTANT.
