The Kernersville Police Department is responding to a gas leak. The gas leak occurred Tuesday morning in the area of South Main Street from Old Winston Road to Highway 421. Part of the road is closed at this time due to the gas leak. There’s no word on when it could reopen or when the leak will be repaired.
