THANK YOU, JOSHUA. THE HIGH POINT POLICE DEPARTMENT IS HANDING OUT GIFT DONATIONS TODAY. THIS IS PART OF ITS ANGELS IN BLUE PROGRAM, WHICH PROVIDES CHRISTMAS GIFTS TO FAMILIES NEEDING ASSISTANCE. GIFTS WERE DROPPED OFF LATE THIS MORNING AT BROOKDALE SENIOR LIVING. THEY WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TO FAMILIES THIS EVENING. WE TAKE OUR JOB SERIOUSLY. WE’RE GOING TO DO OUR JOB. BUT WE ALSO ACCOMPLISH PASSIONATE, CARING INDIVIDUALS THAT WANT TO GIVE BACK AND BEING A PART OF ANGELS IN BLUE AND BEING A PART OF THIS RELATIONSHIP BUILDING WITH OUR CITIZENS. The High Point Police Department handed out gift donations Monday to families in need.This is part of the department's Angels in Blue program.Angels in Blue provides gifts to families needing assistance."We take our jobs seriously, we're going to do our job. But we're also compassionate, caring individuals that want to give back. Being part of 'Angels in Blue' and being a part of this relationship-building with our citizens means the world to us," Assistant Police Chief Petula Sellars said.Gifts were dropped off late Monday morning at Brookdale Senior Living to be distributed to families in the evening.The department formed this program in 2014.
